ROYAL JOHOR INVITATIONAL
The game of golf shall be played in accordance to the Rules of Golf currently adopted by the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, and the following Local Rules of Royal Johor Country Club.

OUT OF BOUNDS (RULE 27 - 1)
Defined by white stakes, lines, barrier posts, drain or roads. Where a drain is used for such demarcation, the drain itself is out of bounds

2nd Hole : White lines behind the putting green at the far side of the road
3rd Hole :

White stakes on the right and behind the putting green

4th Hole :

White stakes on the right

8th Hole : White stakes and drain on the right
9th Hole : Nearside of road behind the putting green
10th Hole :

White stakes and guard rails on the left

11th Hole : White stakes on the left and behind the putting green
17th Hole : White stakes on the left
18th Hole : Nearside of road behind the putting green

WATER HAZARDS (RULE 26 -1)
(a) Water Hazards - All areas defined by yellow stake and / or lines.
(b) Lateral Water Hazards - All areas defined by red stakes and / or lines.
  (i) Where stone pitching and wood are used for the pond lining, only the 'waterside' of the lining is in the hazard.
  (ii)Staked concrete drains between Hole No. 1&2 and at No.3

GROOVES NEAR PUTTING GREENS (D33-8/24)
Balls lying in the edging groove between the Bermuda grass and Cowgrass around the putting greens may be lifted, cleaned, and placed out of the groove in the nearest position to where it lay but not nearer the hole without penalty. No relief if available for stance.

IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS (RULE 24-2b)
(i) Protective fences - 1st. tee / 9th. Putting Greens
                                     - 14th. Fairway / 15th. Tee.
(ii) All Concrete Drains except for those marked with hazard stakes
(iii) Young Trees with blue marker.
(iv) Ornamental plants surrounded by fringing and immovable obstruction are part of that obstructions

INTEGRAL PART OF THE COURSE
The stretch of road behind the 2nd putting green from the 1st Tee box to a striped post to the left of the putting green, is declared Integral Part of the Course under Definition.

STONES IN BUNKERS
Stones in bunkers are movable obstructions (Rule 24-1(a) applies) .

ERODED BASE OF SAND BUNKERS
A player may take relief under Rule 25-1b(ii) if the ball lies on an area (crevices, etc.) in the bunker eroded and damaged by surface runoff.

EMBEDDED BALLS (RULE 25-2, APPENDIX 1, PART B-3)
Through the green, a ball embedded in its own pitch mark in ground, other than sand, may be lifted, cleaned and dropped without penalty, as near as possible to the spot where it lay but not nearer the hole.
Exception: A player may not obtain relief under this Local Rule if it is clearly unreasonable for him to make a stroke because of interference by any other than the condition covered by the Local Rule.

WRONG PUTTING GREEN (RULE 25-3)
For the purpose of Rule 25-3 only, a wrong putting green includes the collar surrounding the putting green other than the hole being played.
