ANNUAL TRIP TO BANGKOK

The Royal Johor Country Club golfers visited Bangkok on 9 December 2005 for the Annual inter-port game with Royal Bangkok Sports Club and the inter-port game against Royal Gems Golf & Sports Club on 10 December 2005.

The Royal Johor Country Club delegation was led by His Majesty Sultan of Johor. The Royal Johor Country Club golf team retained the Challenge Trophy when they beat the Royal Gems Golf & Sports Club counterparts on their home territory. The game against Royal Bangkok Sports Club ended in favour of the home team and they kept the “Sultan Iskandar Cup” for another 6 months.

The response for the trip to Bangkok was overwhelming as 42 golfers from Royal Johor Country Club made the trip to Bangkok. The Club look forward to the members continuous support towards this Annual Trip as it is an important Agenda on our Golfing Calendar.
